Lucky me! I was brand steward for the iconic Skippy Peanut Butter for a few years, and led our team through a wide variety of projects—from creating their website to supporting a ton of shopper marketing.
First, the site. Skippy Peanut Butter was looking for a new site that would show off the fun and versatility of their global brand. Our team created a responsive site that immersed viewers in the joyous world of peanut butter, complete with dynamic rollovers, custom photography, and content that would bring a smile to everyone!
Before launching the new Skippy Peanut Butter website, we created a short sizzle reel to showcase a few highlights and get the whole team behind the scenes excited for the launch.
My role on the site included helping create concepts, user flows, wireframes, designs, illustrations, as well as leading copywriters and working directly with the developer. My role on the video included creating storyboards and designs, as well as leading copywriters and collaborating with the producers.
To support the Skippy P.B. Bites launch, our team created a fun-filled Walmart landing page that showed usage beyond the obvious and a few other trial-driving tactics like FSIs, targeted banners and shelf signs.
We continued to support P.B.Bites beyond the launch, specifically during the key Back-to-School timeframe.
The holiday season was another key timeframe for Skippy, one where peanut butter bakers needed a little reminder of which peanut butter brings the most joy during the happy occasion.
