South Metro Credit Union needed a cohesive identity system, alluring collateral, and strategic positioning to set them apart from their competitors. After exploration and research, I identified a key insight—at its core, their mission was to improve members’ quality of life. With that in mind, I directed their branding efforts to radiate the joyful, carefree, and welcoming feelings their actions, services, and mission embodied.

Drawing inspiration from current trends and the credit union’s native roots, I designed a series of patterns and shapes with a down-to-earth, cheery color palate that would serve as graphical elements alongside emotive lifestyle photography.

New folders acted as efficient, multi-tasking machines to be used for business, personal or wealth management sectors. Brochures, informational inserts, and business proposals could then be combined to create a highly customized package to any specific customer, translating into the top-notch personal service South Metro exemplified.

I wore all the hats on this project: identified the opportunity, completed research, created concepts, designed each element, presented to and worked directly with the client on any edits, and worked with print vendors for production.
